DON'T PANIC!

Me and most of my family went to see the hitch hiker movie last night. Though it was a bit different from the book (which is a good thing since the book kind of rambles around, and adds suprises for someone who's already read it) it was really good. I was glad to se eit was toned down a bit twords more family-freindly than the book (and I asume the radio series the book is based on)

Trilklian's charecter I thought was much more fleshed out and better than the dry version in the book and just plain annoying in the BBC tv show.

I didn't notice it, bur someone commented afterword (shows how observent I am) that a lot people in the theature had towles, pajamas and robes. Must be big fans. At then end there was a big applause. It wasn't exactly an earth shattering film, but it was really fun.

Game Design Stuff...

I've been a hobby game designer now for a few years, never really finishing anything

I'm currently working on a simple RPG/tabbletop war game and tried a first beta test yesterday (with my guinea pigs - my family :) ) . I found a few flaws with the design so I'm revising it and should have the next beta test running soon.
I think they enjoyed playing it though, and the basicdesign is fairly good. The game is built on a system I've been working on for a while, adapting it for different table-top games
I'm also currently working on a collectible game that I've designed over 160 cards so far. It'd be awesome to finally see one of these projects that I've worked so hard on actually be published!

Birthday

Friday was my 24th brithday, the first birthday where I started feeling old. Unfortunitly most of my family was away for a quiz meet that weekend, but me, my dad and my youngest brothert went to see Robots, which was alright, but not very good and then we went to this cool arcade and played lazer tag and I did some rock climbing and played a lot of video games. Afterword we dropped my brother off at a friend's house and me and my dad went to dinner at a nice thai resteraunt. Then Yesterday we got together with the whole family and had cake and my mom gave me a proco rossso dvd (I'm a big Muyazaki fan as I think I've said before).
