Senorial Day Weekend

Last friday I got a chance to go to a writer's workshop with Bryan Davis, Author of the "Dragons in our midsts" books. The workshop was pretty good. I had never heard of the books or Bryan Davis. When I heard about it, I was sceptical because of the kind of cheesy sounding series title, but since then I've read the first book and really enjoyed it and I'm looking foeward to reading the rest.

On Monday me and my family went down to a park beach and picnicked with another family. We had good food and dug around the beach looking for crabs, sand dollars and clams (Putting them back of course. it's the law.)

I'm still trying now to concentrate on writing my play and webcomic, but now the computer I was using broke down (Surprise surprise it's a Compaq persarro), and my brother's computer is having trouble and needs to be backup before it can be used again. I don't like it, but It looks like for now I have to use pencil and paper, though my handwriting's not very good. Also it's been weeks since I've last talked to my artist. One piece of good news is my brother may not need the computer so after it's fixed up I might be able to use it for animation.

Well, today at least I might be able to do a first reading of the puppet play I wrote for the acting/puppet group that may put it on. If they do it this will be my first produced script! Of course, it's not for profit, but still it'll be fun seeing one of my scripts being preformed.

And if you don't get my title, then go to www.homestarrunner.com

Stuff....

Not a whole lot's going on right now, summer's coming soon but I don't really have many plans beyond a trip to portland to see some friends I know from online.

Right now I'm working on a play based on C.S. Lewis' book "till we have faces". which is a retelling of the classic myth of Psyche and Cupid. This is my favorite out of Lewis's fiction books. Unfortuinitly I lost the copy I was working from, and so I'm looking for another copy. When I'm done, I'm going to try to get a non-profit stage companyt my family works with to put it on.

Until I descide to write again,
