I'm an uncle!

I'm pleased to announce that my brother's daughter, Cadence (Pronounced Cay-Dence) was born at 2:00 am on June 24th, 2005. She was 6 pounds 1 oz, 18 inches long,I know that both mother and daughter are well.

Actually, it's hard to beleive I'm an uncle. I'm quite excited!

(UPDATE March 27, 2006: It's gone now. I descided my bad art just was just draging it down. I'm probibly going to look for an artist sometime in the future, and am still working somewhat on the script since I REALLY like this story and want to see it done)

I've got the GIMP

No it's not some strange ailment, GIMP is short for graphic image manipulator program, basicly a freeware paint tool like paintshop, only free and open source. I got it today and started messing around with it. It looks like it's a lot more functional than Microsoft Image composser, which is what I've been using because it
's the best I had (Don't think GIMP would have worked on that computer). Of course I don't know what all the features do, but that's the fun of trial and error to figure it all out. :)

So now I'm trying to put the final touches and get my webcomic up on drunkduck.com, hopefully in the next two weeks before I leave for portland.

Puppet Reading

My puppet play was read for the first time today, and I got some good feedback on how to fix it up, which actualy were fairly small changes which I've already done. We're working on other projects right now, but they might be able to do my play before the end of summer this year. Another dramatic reading will most likely be in order of my updated script.
