Bumps in the road...

Pah. this week has not been so good. I have a bad ingrown tonail that really hurts. I went to see a doctor, who gave me antibiotics and medicine to help, but it still hurts.

I recently has some problems with some people online. I don't want to go in to any details, but I felt they were unfair and meanly critical.

I know things arn't that bad really though, just a few bumps in the road. My eye surgery is getting closer now, I have a check-up before hand to get the green light to go on with it. I'll be glad when it'll be over with.

Not a whole lot...

Not a whole going on, thus the lack of posts. It looks like the sugery I need for my eyes is going foreward very soon, which is very good.

We got a grill this week so today we had burgers for lunch and stuffed pork chops ala alton brown. Both very delicious!

Right now I'm reading:
*Dune by Frank Herbert (Second time, this time for a book group)
*Marry Queen of Scots and her horrible husbands By Margaret Simpson. A fasanating book in the "horrible history" series.

I'm also in the middle of the Unfortunite events books by Lemony Snicket (I recently finished Erastaz Elevator) In my opinion, Series of Unfortunite events beats Harry Potter up and down.

Sailing and other things...

Just a reminder, I'm still updating my bikaesh website and my blog, and I just updated today. I havn't abandoned it yet.

Last sunday we went sailing with a friend and some of my family. We used to own a boat, but I had never been out on a sail boat before.

I realize I never mentioned, we descided to not go to Portland. We realized that we simply hadn't planned it out well enough.

Last night we spent the fourth of july at a friend's of the family's house,. We had the traditional foods, and we got to swim and paddle boat on the lake. All the houses around us were setting off fireworks, so we were literaly surrounded the fireworks, which was pretty cool.
I hope you had a good fourth of july!
